Gave birth, finished nursing school and went to the Altar, all in one year

I keep telling myself that I m going to start blogging, tonight, during my break, tomorrow. Finally I have a second to give you a crash course of life during the last year. My last post was in November of 2013. my daughter was 2 months old. Now she's a beautiful, adventurous, sassy little 17 month old whol is going on 16 years old. I Finished nursing school in May 2014, took boards in June, landed my dream job as a labor and delivery nurse in October. And married my prince charming in November 2014. life has been busier than there are minutes in a day. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Excited to get back to the blogging world and relieve some daily stress and share my adventures. Until next time.... Xoxo B

Thankful November, Thankful Challenge day 3

I m two days late for Thankful November! So here it goes.. Everyday for the month if November I will write about what I am thankful for that day. Today I am thankful for my husband. He is the most supportive, caring and loving man. Without him I don't know how i would have survived my first month as a new mommy. He helps me out so much around the house, so that I can get my study on for school, or even if it's just a few minutes for myself he will go above and beyond for his girls and his family. I am blessed to have him in my life. He's an amazing father and husband and I am beyond excited to see what kind of adventures our life as a little family takes us on. Xoxo B

The Jouney to Success Continues

Here I am once again. I ll probably fall off again but I am going to make myself a promise to try and blog as much as I can the next 20 months...kinda like a stress reliever. So for the past nine years...literally... I have been working on and off towards becoming a Registered Nurse. After high school I tried the retail world and enjoyed it very much, didnt enjoy the part where my check went right back to my company. I pursued that career for about 6 years. After moving back from San Francisco ( where I went to college) I decided Women studies what I majored in and Working retail was not what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I knew in the back of my head I would become a nurse. Just took me a while getting there. In June of 2009 when the economy hit rock bottom and sales at Nordstrom were horrible, I decided to leave and pursue my career as a Nurse. So where does a girl with no medical experience and 6 years of Retail even begin? I was so lost and had no idea what to do or where to start. I had Anatomy and Physiology done and needed one more prereq to be able to start a program. But no Hospital wanted to hire me with 6 years of Nordstrom Expereince. So what I did next was probably the best move ever!

I decided to become a CNA!

Stay Tuned for my journey as a CNA... :)
