This is my first review as a blogger and I just have to say... I am very upset! I dont understand how people IN CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN BE TO RUDE... IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB FIND Something that makes you happy!
I just wanted to express my feelings towards Davids Bridal, because I feel people should know how we were treated. My sister in law was purchases her wedding dress from the Davids Bridal in San Diego the Mission Valley store. On our first visit we were not greeted and we had to find someone to help us. When we found someone they rudely told us we needed an appointment and were told they would put our name on the list and if something opened up they would call our name. So we decided to wait. About and hour and a half later they call our name. I dont remember the consultants name because she was so pushy and made us feel like she had something better to do. I did not worry about her I worried about making sure my sister in law had the best experience. She found a dressed she looked beautiful in and we bought it. On our second visit when we went to go pick up the dress, once again no one greeted us and took us about half an hour for someone to acknowledge us. They gave us they dress very very wrinkled and did not bother to ask us if she wanted to try it on. Until i asked the consultant if she could try it on. She said she was busy and shoved us in the corner in some little room and neglected to check on us. After about another 30 min of waiting for her we took the dress and found someone and they said that its you can take it. Umm excuse me its very wrinkled... oh did you want us to press that for you... yes we did pay hundreds of dollars for it. So they took us to alterations and had the bride try it on once again. They were very pushy for her to alter the dress once we said no they ignored us and told us to pick up the dress a week before the wedding. Today when we went in to pick up the dress and purchase the vail, shoes and last minute things a very nice girl greeted us and sent us to alterations. This other girl got the dress and took it to the front and kept pushing the garment bag on us. Ok why not. but the dressed still looked wrinkled and we asked her if she could please re press it. TO me it was unacceptable we paid hundreds of dollars for it to look half ass. She got annoyed and took the dress back to alterations. As we were standing their a customer was talking to a CONSULTANT by the name of KATRINA. The rude customer asked her Do you like your job? and KATRINA stated no not when we get customers like them? I hate when they complain. And they proceeded to continue having a conversation about us. I FOUND THAT VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE... WE are paying customers and do not deserve to be treated that way. It put a damper on our day this is suppose to be a very special moment for my sister in law and it was RUINED by the experience we had. I recommended that place to my sister in law because i had an awesome experience with my sister for her wedding and just wanted her to have the same. Davids Bridal in Mission Valley lost out on a lot of money today And I will DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE USING THEM FOR MY UPCOMING NUPTIALS. I have cancelled my appointment and will take my business else where. I am very upset on how we were treated and I DO Plan on facebooking, yelping and blogging. Our family is in Event Planning business and I WILL Never recommend Davids Bridal.
